I'm going to start on the positives, and dive right in with the one and only Ann Hathaway. Perfectly styling her pixie cut, Ann didn't let the rain cramp her style as she squelched down the red carpet in a black Burberry gown embellished with gold studding. Winning a BAFTA for best supporting actress in Les Miserables.
Black seemed to be the colour of the night with many others wearing black. Amy Adams, wore a beautiful lace and sequined Elie Saab dress paired with Faberge jewellery. Sarah Jessica Parker also opted for Elie Saab, but went with the not so classic red carpet option, a jumpsuit. She still looked beautiful, but maybe a gown next time SJP.
Some decided not to let the English rain deter them from their wishful summer thinking as Marion Cotillard wore Dior Couture to this years awards. Despite the strange ensemble of tulip/full length, the colour really does bring some light to what was a rather dismal evening.
Holly Willoughby blended in with the celebrity style in her simple and elegant floor length red gown by Valentino. The wind, however, took her a bit by surprise as she quickly stopped her dress from lifting up and flashing the papz. Good save Holly!
